Flu campaign 2024

This Autumn, Mill Hill Surgery will be providing FREE Flu vaccinations for eligible patients in a range of clinics.


We WILL be offering Flu vaccines to:

  • ALL patients who are 65yrs and over
  • Patients 18 – 64yrs old who are clinically “at risk”
  • Children aged 2-3  and under 18s who are clinically “at risk”

Care Home and Housebound Patients – The Surgery will ensure that all care homes and housebound patients are offered both flu and Covid vaccinations from 3rd of October to late November.

CHILDRENS FLU CLINICS

ALL 2 – 3yr olds will be invited to have their Flu vaccine at the Surgery. We will contact you about these flu clinics shortly.

  • Appointment Times – will be ongoing and staggered to ensure a steady flow.
  • Parking – there is ample free parking space on our premises.
  • Dress – patients need to make sure they wear appropriate clothing to allow both upper arms to be easily accessed.

Autumn/Winter 2024 COVID-19 vaccination programme launches from 3 October 2024

From Thursday 3 October 2024 to 20 December 2024, the seasonal COVID-19 vaccination will be available, free, for those who are at greatest risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus.

The national booking system will open to public on 23 September 2024 and a number of walk-in sites will be open across North West London from Thursday 3 October 2024. 

No booking is required at walk-in clinics, but you are advised to contact the vaccination site in advance to confirm their opening times. Individuals do not need to be registered with the NHS to use walk-in services and do not need to bring any identification.

Those eligible for vaccinations this Autumn/Winter 2024 are:

  • – residents in a care home for older adults
  • – all adults aged 65 years and over
  • – pregnant people
  • – persons aged 6 months to 64 years* in a clinical risk group, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) Green Book on immunisation against infectious disease.

*Please also note that not all sites offer vaccination to children and member of the public. It is advised to contact the site in advance to check this.
